The building itself is an advanced structure and has been designed to a very high specification to meet the children's and families needs. Before finalising the design of the building, extensive research and planning took place with many visits to a number of children's hospices. Our research enabled us to incorporate the best layout, design features and state of the art facilities.

Our head of care worked closely with both the architect and design team to choose the specialist equipment being fitted in the hospice. 'State of the art' technology will be used throughout Bluebell Wood.
