Behind the scenes our team work intensely to make the dream a reality. Below are the teams individual roles.

Kay Challand is our Chief Executive and oversees all aspects of the Hospice ensuring that Bluebell Wood strives to meet the needs of children and families affected by life limiting and life threatening conditions. She does this by ensuring we deliver quality services that are led by the needs of the children and their families.

Mark Hutchinson

Mark Hutchinson is Kay's P.A. and IT Support for the whole team. Mark designs, develops and maintains the Bluebell Wood website and assists Kay by providing administration and technical support. Mark ensures all our systems work effectivley.

Kathryn McBride

Kathryn McBride is our Administrator. Kathryn is the first point of call on our telephones and sends out those all important 'thank you' letters to our supporters. Kathryn deals with Bluebell Wood's correspondence and enquiries and also undertakes general office administration duties.

Terry Ellis

Terry Ellis is our Facilities Manager. Terry works within the Hospice ensuring the smooth and safe running of the building. Terry maintains the health and safety and security of the building, for our families.

Louie

Louie is a four year old Cocker Spaniel, who has been working in voluntary organisations from being a puppy. He joins Bluebell Wood and will be working with the team, supporting them in their roles. Louie enjoys singing to music on the radio whilst enjoying other people's food!
