Bake a Cake Day on Friday 12th February
Why not take part in our Bake a Cake event throughout February? A fun way to banish those winter blues. Simply encourage all the budding bakers you know to bake cakes, then sell slices to your friends and colleagues for £1 a slice. You get to help Bluebell Wood and enjoy a tasty slice of homemade cake too.

We're pleased to announce that footballing legend Tony Currie is supporting our Bake a Cake day! Here's pictures of him cooking up his very own cake at the hospice. Tony raised £70 by selling the 3 cakes he baked in our kitchen- so many thanks to him for supporting the day

- Hold a cake and coffee morning at your house and invite all your friends.
- Get a great cake maker you know to hold a cake making masterclass to pass on their secrets and charge a small fee for the class.
- Bake a cake and get people to enter a competition to guess the weight of the cake. The winner gets the cake as a prize!
- Bake a cherry cake, and get people to guess how many cherries are in the cake.
