This December Bluebell Wood is asking you to wear your silliest Christmas jumper in support of the North Anston based Children’s Hospice.
On Friday 9th December Bluebell Wood would like as many people as possible to don their best festive knit and donate a pound to help children with life threatening or life-shortening conditions.
The hospice supports families in South Yorkshire North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and parts of North Lincolnshire.
Once in festive get-up, don’t forget to take a picture, post it on your social media and tag the hospice in it @bluebellwoodch they will also be using #SweaterSelfie and #ChristmasJumperDay too.
Rachael Dawes, Corporate Fundraising Manager said: “Spread the word around your work, school or nursery and get dressed up for a great cause. Your donations will help us care for children and families going through the toughest of times.
“If you don’t own a Christmas jumper there’s no need to buy a new item of clothing you could always jazz up some other knitwear with some tinsel and baubles.
“We will be taking part at the hospice too and we can’t wait to see you sharing photos of you wearing your awesome festive knits.
“If Friday 9th December is not a good day for you, you can still raise money for us, just pick another day around Christmas and send us a donation.”
