Struggling to find that perfect gift for someone special? How does the chance of winning £1,000 sound?
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice run a lottery with eight cash prizes up for grabs each week.
Our lottery gift memberships are £13 for three months, £26 for six months or £52 for a year and they make the perfect gift for those hard to buy for people. The money helps support children with life shortening or life threatening conditions at the North Anston based hospice or in their homes.
The jackpot is £1,000 every week and all profits from the ticket sales go directly to Bluebell Wood.
The hospice is also offering an alternative way to send Christmas cards.
The team has created an alternative Christmas card where you simply write in your chosen Christmassy message to your friends or work colleagues, then make a donation.
To sign up for the lottery or to request a Christmas card, you can visit www.bluebellwood.org or ring 01909 517365.
If these ideas are not for you but you’d like to support the hospice this Christmas then you can make a donation by visiting our website.
Helen Mower, Head of Fundraising said: “There’s so many things to organise in the run up to Christmas, presents to buy, cards to write and order the turkey for dinner, but we can help you spread some Christmas cheer.
“The money donated through our alternative Christmas card or from buying lottery tickets really does make a difference to the families we support.
“It allows us to give the gift of time to families so they can laugh, love and create special memories with their children. We’re here to build a snowman, to help Father Christmas drop by unexpectedly and to share a mince pie with a parent at 3.00am who just needs to talk.”
