To lunch or not to lunch? That is the question

Trying to find the perfect Mother’s Day gift? Why not treat mum to an afternoon of elegance at Bluebell Wood’s Ladies’ Lunch on Saturday 18th March, and help support children with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions.

The delicious three course lunch, which takes place at The Sitwell Arms in Renishaw, will feature Elizabethan expert, Maureen Taylor, who will take you back in time to explore everything from Henry VIII’s ruff collar to the history of the hooped skirt.

Tickets are only £22 per person, or you can invite the whole family for just £200 for a table of ten. To find out more about the mouth-watering menu or to reserve your place, please visit www.bluebellwood.org/ladies-lunch or call 01909 517 365.

Bluebell Wood cares for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions; and their families. Their support includes end of life care, short breaks, music therapy, counselling, sibling support, home visits and more.

Madeleine Oldale, Head of Communications at Bluebell Wood, said: “We all know how important it is to pamper our mums on Mother’s Day, and our Ladies’ Lunch is the perfect way to relax with a coffee, cake, and a good chat.

“When you treat your mum this March you will also be helping us be there for other parents when they need us most, by creating special memories they can treasure with their children; whether they have days, weeks, months, or years together.”
