Make a Will, Make a Difference

We all know how important it is to make a Will, yet over half the UK population don’t have one. Throughout May Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice will be trying to change that, by encouraging people to write a Will during their ‘Make a Will Month’.

Bluebell Wood will be teaming up with nine local solicitors across the region to give you the chance to make it easier and cheaper to write a Will. Participating solicitors write your Will for a suggested donation of just £95 for a basic, single Will and £150 for a mirror Will, and they will be kindly giving their entire fee to the hospice.

Bluebell Wood cares for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions; and their families. Their support includes end of life care, short breaks, music therapy, counselling, sibling support, home visits and more.

Julie Booth, Trust, Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser at Bluebell Wood, said: “Making a Will is the best way to make sure your loved ones are protected, and it’s important you update it every five years, or if you move house, have a baby, get married or divorced, or have a death in the family.

“Supporting our ‘Make a Will Month’ this May is a great way to look after your family’s future, and help us care for children and families during the toughest times imaginable.”
