Volunteer for us and you can learn new things, meet new people and know you’re making a difference. You can give as little or as much time as you like. A full list of our current volunteer roles is available further down the page.

Register your interest in becoming a volunteer

  • (Please indicate if you are interested in a specific role highlighted above. If you are registering your interest generally, please indicate how many hours you would like to volunteer and when).
We are currently looking for volunteers in a number of areas. For details, please read the role profiles below:

Housekeeping – We need help at the hospice on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Community volunteer – assist our Fundraising Team with fundraising tasks and event support.

Driver’s Mate – We’re looking for a Driver’s Mate to help collect furniture for our Hellaby shop.

Shop volunteer – Sheffield, Hellaby, Dinnington, Chapeltown, Worksop, Chesterfield and Bakewell shops. Take a look at our shop locations.

Shop Volunteer Cleaner – required at our Chesterfield shop (any day).

Kitchen Volunteer– Help needed on  Wednesday lunchtimes (10:30 – 2:00) and Monday and Friday tea times (4.30-6.00).

Unfortunately there is limited public transport to our hospice.
