Thanks to Paul Gee who raised £1000 for the hospice by running the London Marathon. Paul's time was an impressive 4 hours and 22 minutes- well done Paul!

Thanks to Ecclesfield Priory Players for their "War Years (as remembered)" event which has raised over £1000 for the hospice. The show contained songs, sketches, poems and memories with wartime refreshments (Horlicks, drinking chocolate, Ovaltine, war recipe cakes and buns and dripping cakes) at the interval.

Raising money for Bluebell Wood on behalf of Thomson Airways, Ruth Massarella successfully completed a sprint triathlon on June 12th at Rother Valley Country Park, in a very impressive 50mins 43secs coming 26th out of 115 competitors! She has so far raised £186.50p. Well done Ruth and thank you!

Well done to everyone who took part in Tom's Golden Mile Challenge 2010. Over £5,000 has already been raised!

Thanks to volunteers from Grant Thornton, who raised money by bravely setting out on a freezing cold morning to walk from the hospice all the way back to their offices in Sheffield!

Thanks to all the keen anglers at Williamthorpe Angling Club, who raised £300 from their charity carp match

Thank you to the very brave members of the Royal Charter Rally Club who raised £493 by waxing their legs and shaving their heads -ouch! Here's a before and after shot!

Thank you to The Guild of the Freemen of the City of London,who donated money after a dog handling display by South Yorkshire Police last month. The picture below shows PC Steve Gill with Marley (Springer Spaniel) and Jake (Rottweiler) presenting the cheque to us!

A massive thank you to Dean,David and Rob for completing their epic cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats- via a hike up the 3 highest mountains in the UK! They have raised £4,000- thanks very much boys and we hope you're not feeling too exhaused!

Thank you to Roger & Anne Kay for organising a fantastic bonfire party at their home in Blyth, supported by Bawtry Masonic Lodge,which raised the phenomenal amount of £1726. Fuse Fireworks provided a fantastic firework display on the night with the help of music from Showhire.

Thank you to 11 year old Monica Naylor who held a coffee morning for us recently and raised £620! Well done Monica, that's a great effort

Thank you to Anne & Ken Weeks and friends who have raised £1,026 from a raffle at a musical evening,collection boxes, and selling Bluebell Wood merchandise

Our thanks to all the ladies who completed Tom's Golden Mile Challenge 2009. The total raised so far is £17,000!

We'd like to send massive thanks to everyone who raised funds for Gemma's Smile. The amazing amount of £40,000 was raised for the hospice, which is a fantastic tribute to Gemma's memory

Thanks to Hannah Reeder, Simon Chivers and Daniel Rose who organised non-uniform days at Rosehill Junior School and Rawmarsh Community School and raised over £800

Thanks for the amazing support from the masonic lodges who have supported us all year. The Grand Freemasons Charity presented a cheque to us for the fantastic amount of £1,677 just before Christmas!

Thanks to all the girls at the Hi-Lites hairdressers in Doncaster and a special thanks to Clair from Nail Creations, for raising £484.50 with a bake a cake sale,raffle and more at the salon last weekend!
