A community-spirited motor company is making sure Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is all geared up to motor on for another year, thanks to the delivery of a sleek and shiny new car.

The South Yorkshire charity has welcomed its fourth brand new car in as many years courtesy of Burrows Fleet and Business Centre in Barugh Green, Barnsley. The generous motor company has loaned a brand-new Toyota Yaris to Bluebell Wood which will be used by the team at the hospice.

Rachael Dawes, Individual Giving Manager at Bluebell Wood, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to Burrows for their incredible generosity and continued support.

“From helping us cheer on supporters up and down our catchment to providing the means for us to visit families in their own homes, the cars Burrows have kindly loaned over the years have become a vital part of the Bluebell Wood team.

“As well as helping us reach the families who need us, Burrows’ generosity has helped us save considerable sums of money which can instead be used to help those families make unforgettable memories in the time they have together.”

A Burrows spokesperson said: “As a local family owned and run business we feel it is important to play a part in helping the local community and we couldn’t work with a better partner than Bluebell Wood who help so many families in their time of need.”

Family-owned Burrows Motor Company now represents Toyota across five dealerships in Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Sheffield and Worksop.

They also represent Kia in Barnsley and Mazda in Sheffield and York, plus a prestige used car dealership ‘Burrows Mint Cars’ in Sheffield.
