Mum shares emotional reunion with son after four weeks of isolation A family supported by Bluebell Wood have shared this touching video of the moment mum Lisa was reunited with her little boy, after staying away for four weeks to keep him safe. Lisa took the incredibly difficult decision to isolate from son Finlay and wife Abbie for weeks at a time so she could continue her important work at a rehabilitation centre. Although it was an "awful" decision for her to make, she felt it was the right thing to do in order not to let her patients down. Finlay, 4, has a rare condition called Mosaic Edwards' Syndrome, which means even minor infections can be very dangerous. She told the Sheffield Star: "Leaving him and knowing I could catch the virus and never come back, that's the heartache. "It was awful. It was absolutely horrid. The first day I moved out, I went to work, I cried quite a lot. Work were so, so supportive but the realisation that I might never come home if I caught the virus was horrific. I was awake at 3am thinking 'what if I never see my little boy again?" "When you work with clients together for a long time, you want to protect them too and keep them safe. I just felt like I couldn't turn my back on those either. "It was the worst decision I've ever, ever had to make but the most important thing was that I kept Finlay safe and kept the virus out of the house." You can read the full story here.
