A year of fantastic fundraising by a logistics firm has raised nearly £17,500 for children and young adults whose lives are just too short.

From football competitions and fancy dress days, to ‘gunge a manager’ stalls and auctioned stock sales, employees at Wincanton came up with twelve months’ worth of inventive ideas to raise as much as possible for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

David Hall, Corporate Fundraiser, Bluebell Wood, said: “Wincanton has really gone to town with its fundraising, and the amazing amount raised will do a lot to help families across our region make special memories together. We rely on support like this to keep our doors open each year, so we would like to say a massive thank you to every single person involved.”

Shannon Ratcliffe, Finance Assistant, Wincanton, said: "It has been an absolute pleasure to support Bluebell Wood over the past year. The whole of the site at Wincanton in Sheffield have been amazing and their contributions and efforts are outstanding. We feel honoured to be in a position to support such a fantastic charity and to understand the difference this will make is both humbling and inspiring. We really do look forward to continuing to supporting Bluebell Wood in the future."
