About us:

At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice we care for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. We are currently supporting around 300 families both in our hospice and in family homes.

Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family including end of life treatment and care, respite short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, home visits and much much more.  It costs more than £5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive around 15% of our funding from government sources.

The role:

As a Clinical Educator, you will be part of a team of 3 responsible for working alongside and providing face to face training to our care team, supporting and developing the care workforce through clinical practice and the promotion/implementation of relevant education and development pathways.

The requirements:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, hardworking, positive thinking and experienced children’s nurse as Clinical Educator. You will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to plan, facilitate, lead and evaluate a range of educational programs.
