The Sheffield site of a global electronics company is looking forward to a year of supporting Bluebell Wood as it nominates the hospice as its charity of the year.

TT Electronics Roxspur Measurement & Control, a firm that specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of a comprehensive range of temperature, pressure, flow and level measurement products, will be embarking on a number of fundraising initiatives over the year ahead.

When restrictions allow, the Sheffield team plan to take on events to raise funds for the charity, as well as lending much needed people-power through volunteering opportunities.

Anna Gott, Regional Fundraiser at Bluebell Wood, said: “We’re delighted that TT Electronics have chosen Bluebell Wood as its charity of the year and we’re very much looking forward to working closely with the team in the weeks and months ahead.

“The support of community-focused business like TT Electronics helps us to make precious memories with local families who sadly don’t know how long they have with one another."

“It’s been one of the toughest years we’ve ever faced as a charity so our amazing supporters in the business community really are more important than ever.”

Vicki Faith for TT Electronics Roxspur said: “Bluebell Wood is a life-changing local charity and it’s a privilege to offer our support in these challenging times.

“As a business we are very much committed to giving something back to the community so we’re hoping to raise as much as possible to help fund Bluebell Wood’s vital work.

“Our Sheffield team are ready and raring to go when restrictions allow so watch this space.”
