How long have you been in the network and what made you decide to sign up?

We wanted to work with a local charity that meant something to us. Having two young children and knowing about the crucial work Bluebell Wood does, we felt the hospice was a good match and we've thoroughly enjoyed working together for more than two years.

How have you benefited from being in the network?

We have met some wonderful Bluebell Wood staff members and have a far better understanding of the great work they do. We've enjoyed meeting volunteers and fundraisers at Bluebell Wood's Business Expo, activity days and events and we've increased our network of contacts and likeminded people.

What has your experience been of our networking events?

It's been great to get everyone together and meet new people. The events are on being fun and engaging.

We donate £20 to Bluebell Wood from every mortgage we arrange and do at least two fundraising activities every year to raise money for the hospice. This year we've have done the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge and have donated around £4000 so far.

What would you say to other organisations thinking of join the network?

It’s a great charity that is supported by fantastic people that all pull together for a great cause.
