A Dronfield man’s legacy is helping to make a difference for families across the region. 

Frank Cammidge, who passed away in September at 93, has left £2,967 to Bluebell Wood in his Will. 

The former quantity surveyor lived with his partner Mary before she passed away.

Mary’s daughter Vicky Cutts said: “My mother was married to my dad for 23 years until he died, and she met Frank a year later. Although she and Frank never got married, they became inseparable and travelled all over the world on holidays together, to Canada, Florida and across Europe. They bought a campervan and visited most of England too. They were great companions. 

“Frank never had any children. He had lots of different jobs, and worked for a long time in construction, starting as a clerk and eventually becoming a quantity surveyor. 

“It’s lovely to think his gift will help local families in their time of need.”
