Give us people with passion, so we can give children happier lives.

Bluebell Wood is a place as magical as its name. We’re here to help families make the most amazing memories, and we provide a home from home in the toughest of times. The children who stay with us have a wonderful time in our soft play area and six acres of gardens, and can experience arts and crafts, music therapy and many more activities during their stay. We provide specialist medical care both at the hospice and to support families in their own homes. Many people who haven’t visited us think a hospice is a sad place but at Bluebell Wood, this couldn't be further from the truth, and we make the very most of each moment.

People are at the heart of everything we do, and you will make sure that we employ the most capable, caring and passionate professionals. Looking at the big picture of our HR strategy, you will create an inclusive and nurturing culture with strong emphasis on coaching, mentoring and personal development. Strengthening our Management Team, you’ll give our managers the skills to take us to the next level, whilst ensuring we remain abreast of the latest employment legislation and best practice. You’ll also be the driving force behind our recruitment activity for both staff and volunteers, so your impact on our future will be enormous.

A CIPD-qualified professional, you’ll be fully versed in all aspects of HR. We’re looking for an excellent influencer, who is highly skilled at coaching, mentoring and fostering a culture of inclusivity. Joining us from a complex organisation, you’ll bring a wealth of fresh and exciting ideas.

In return, we offer flexible working arrangements in a unique, relaxed and welcoming environment, a generous pension scheme, enhanced healthcare benefits, subsidised meals and 33 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays). However, your biggest reward will be helping us make children and families smile in the most difficult of circumstances.

If you’re interested in using your professional skills to really make a difference to children and families, then we would love to hear from you. You can download the full job pack here.
