Bluebell Wood is celebrating a new charity partnership with a local business who have recently become a neighbour of the hospice.

Simm Engineering Group – who specialise in compressed air services -  made the move from Attercliffe to Dinnington to expand their business, and were keen to get to know the local community.

Having supported Bluebell Wood’s life-changing work in the past, the firm quickly pledged to support the charity where it could as well as joining its 365 Business Club.

Matt Sheridan, Corporate Fundraiser at Bluebell Wood, said: “We’re delighted to welcome our new neighbours at Simm Engineering Group to both our 365 Business Club and to Dinnington.

“At Bluebell Wood we’re very much a part of the community so it’s fantastic to have the support of another local business that is dedicated to giving something back.

“We rely on our supporters to help local families through some of the most difficult times they’ll ever face, so the support of businesses like Simm Engineering group really does make a big difference.”

Alan Kerr, General Manager, Simm Engineering Group, said: “I think it is essential that as we set our sights on growing our business in this area we also give back into our new community.

“Living locally, I have been involved with fundraising for Bluebell Wood before and have seen the fantastic work they do for families.

“As a father myself I was keen for Simm Engineering Group to be involved and I am proud we have pledged to join the 365 Business Club.”

Bluebell Wood 365 Business Club gives local businesses the chance to support local families going through the toughest of times, while offering a range of other benefits.
