Volunteer Supervisor: Regional fundraiser

Location: Queens park, Rose Hill, Chesterfield S40 1LP

Days/Times: Sunday 24th March 8.30am-12.30pm

About this role:

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to support us at the Redbrick 10K race that is taking place on Sunday 24th March 2024. This race will be starting and finishing at Queen's Park.

Key tasks:

We are looking for volunteers to assist with the following tasks:

  • Marshalling at different points along the race track.
  • Manning our gazebo- handing out food and refreshments to the runners.

What we are looking for:

Volunteers who are

  • Looking for a one off volunteering opportunity (although you are more than welcome to sign up as a regular volunteer afterwards!)
  • Friendly
  • Willing to be part of a team
  • Respectful of members of the public, staff and fellow volunteers

Bluebell Wood volunteers are asked to:

  • Be polite and respectful to everyone you meet whilst volunteering in this role.
  • Act as an Ambassador for the Bluebell Wood Charity.
