A fearless foursome from Doncaster’s Oval Partnership are aiming to boost their incredible £7,500 fundraising total with an epic wilderness challenge.

The recruitment specialists have been raising funds for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice for several years, and now the team have their eyes firmly fixed on the next challenge.

One of the firm’s clients, Samworth Brothers , host a special charity challenge every 2 years where teams push themselves to the limit in the wilderness somewhere in the UK.

For the Oval Partnership team, choosing a charity to support was the easy part.

“Over the years members of our team have been lucky enough to visit Bluebell Wood and see their incredible work first hand,” said Oval Partnership Recruitment Administrator, Lisa Matthias.

“The care and support offered to children and their families is phenomenal, so it’s a cause that’s very close to our hearts.

“We know the past couple of years have been challenging from a fundraising perspective too so we’re very happy to continue to offer our support.”

The Oval Partnership’s team have a target of £2,000 for the Samworth Challenge, which will take the firm’s grand fundraising total to almost £10,000.

“The full details of the challenges are top secret until the day itself, but we know it certainly won’t be a walk in the park,” added Lisa.

“The team will spend nine hours in the wilderness, orienteering and taking on a variety of sporting challenges, so it won’t be easy.”

Oval Partnership colleagues Tim Caseldine, Alicia Caseldine, Nicola Grainger, Ryan Robinson and Clayton Hill will be let loose on the Brecon Beacons on 18^th June. For Ryan Robinson, it comes hot on the heels of a half marathon in Rome, which he also took on in support of Bluebell Wood.
