There was a sprinkling of fairy dust all round when a mischievous sprite made a magical flying visit to Bluebell Wood.

Jo Osmond, who is playing Tinkerbell in Peter Pan, put some big smiles on faces when she came to say hello to families, volunteers and staff.

Paying a visit in between performances at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre, the actor met children supported by the charity.

Jo said: “Bluebell Wood is amazing place and the families are so inspiring. It was my pleasure to come down and play with the children, explore all the rooms and sprinkle some fairy magic!”

Emma Doughty, Head of Family Support and Wellbeing Services, Bluebell Wood, said: “We were over the moon to welcome Jo, who was a hit with everyone here. We’re really grateful that she found time, in a hectic panto schedule, to call in. Jo really helped our families make some wonderful Christmas memories.”
