How you can help Fundraise Individual fundraising Recycle your Christmas tree! We all love Christmas and the excitement of picking your tree and decorating it whilst you tuck into some mince pies with a Christmas film on in the background! Well, we have some exciting news… Bluebell Wood will be there for the bit we all don’t like as much – disposing of your real Christmas tree! For a suggested donation of £10 per household tree, our Christmas elves will come and collect your tree and recycle it in an environmentally friendly way. We'll chip the trees and turn the chippings into compost - some of this will be used to grow new Christmas trees, while some of it will be used right here at the hospice. We have the incredible support of some fantastic local businesses meaning that your donation to our campaign will help children and families across the region. We are also offering a bespoke service for non-household trees or trees over 8ft – please get in touch with us to arrange collection and make a donation. Collections will take place week commencing 4th January 2021 – so please make sure your tree is outside from this date. If you live in the following areas, you will be eligible for a tree collection.
