One of the most successful events ever organised by Bluebell Wood has been shortlisted in the 2017 National Fundraising Awards.
Barnsley man Tim Steele is inviting Zumba enthusiasts to dance their hearts out at a special zumbathon fundraiser in memory of his nephew Roman.
While Barnsley born and bred Gladys will be celebrating her 100th birthday on 10 June, she doesn’t want any presents. Instead she is asking family and friends to donate to Bluebell Wood.
Sports fans and golfers have the chance to enjoy an unforgettable day on the greens with some of Sheffield’s biggest sporting legends this September.
Cast members, including the actors playing Mr Bumble, Nancy, Bill Sykes, the Artful Dodger and Oliver, met up with Bluebell Wood children Jack and Emma-Louise, who both receive care at the hospice which helps families from across North Nottinghamshire and the wider region.
Allen Fiddament, who sadly passed away in April 2016 aged 87, always wanted to help local children and give them a better chance in life. So when it came to writing his Will, he knew exactly where the money from his home should go.
