It’s been inspirational to see how our communities have come together during this crisis, communities we’re incredibly proud to be a part of.

You are the beating heart of Bluebell Wood, and we simply wouldn’t be able to support some of the most vulnerable in our society without you.

We know times are hard, so we’re simply asking for a pledge of support from those who can help, when the time is right.

Make a pledge now:

  • At the moment we know you can't get out into the community or organise events as normal. But while you're at home you could follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn. The more followers we have, the more we can raise awareness of our cause. And it's quick and easy for you to do!
  • If you can get out safely for your daily exercise, you could always take on Curly's Big Active Challenge. Make every minute count and see if you can get to the top of their leader-board. We'd love it if you considered taking the challenge on for Bluebell Wood. If you do and want to raise sponsorship, we recommend Just Giving. Good luck!
  • Or maybe you're looking to develop your indoor hobbies? You could always try to knit or sew something to sell at a future fundraising event. Click here for some of our crochet patterns.

Pledge to support us in the future:

  • If you can't commit to doing anything right now, you could have think about what you'd like to do to support the community in future, such as organising a bake sale, getting active in aid of Bluebell Wood or organising a tombola or raffle.
  • Buy your Christmas cards and gifts from Bluebell Wood. Our full range of cards and gifts will be available on our online shop and in all our shops over the festive period, and each pack of cards helps support local families. Nearer Christmastime we'll also be selling Lottery Gift Cards, so you can give the gift of a win to a member of your group for £12, £24 or £52 (depending on how many weeks you give). If you'd prefer, you could sign up yourself by clicking here.

For more ideas and how to get involved, read our #LetsPledge community pack.

Listen to BBC Radio Sheffield interview our Head of Fundraising, Sam Wood about #LetsPledge and hear from Kerry and Jacob what it would mean to families supported by Bluewood for people to get behind the campaign.

Have you decided on your pledge? Please click the button below to let us know how you would like to support us in the future. We'd love to know what you're doing so we can stay in touch with you and support you at a time that suits you.

Once you've pledged, add our #LetsPledge Facebook Frame to your Facebook profile picture so that your friends, family, and group members know that you're planning to help the hospice in the future.
