Help for families Help for professionals At Bluebell Wood, we work with lots of health and social organisations including GPs, Clinical Care Commissioning Groups, and social workers across South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and North Lincolnshire. Many of the children and young adults who come to us also receive care from specialist nursing teams across these counties. We work with doctors, paediatricians, oncologists, and physiotherapists to make sure care is as comprehensive as possible. What training do we offer? It is important for us to share our specialist skills and knowledge, so that health professionals are aware of how we can work with them to provide the very best support for children and families facing the toughest of times. We know that, even for professionals, having a conversation about palliative and hospice care can be daunting. That's why we've created a range of resources to help professionals have these discussions with families you care for who need palliative care. You can download our family guide to help show what our facilities are like, or view our virtual tour. We've also collected together links to other resources and groups who can help when supporting families with life-shortening conditions. Please note- clicking these links will take you to external websites.
