Making a difference one gift at a time

Musical instruments donated to our music therapy team from the Amazon wishlist are already making a difference in sessions at the hospice and in the community.

"Some of these instruments have gone out into the community with us. Around three quarters of our music therapy sessions take place in community settings - homes, schools and hospitals - as it’s sometimes difficult for families to bring their children into the hospice. The music therapists, Ann and Caroline, greatly appreciated receiving some new good quality, appealing instruments in their community kits.

"Some of the instruments are now being used in our ‘Wriggles and Rhymes’ group for under fours. This popular music group provides tailored support for children’s early development as well as opportunities for families to get to know each other and experience peer support.
