Sibling Activity Coordinator

To work as part of our Family Support Team providing holistic support from the point of referral through to post bereavement. This role involves developing and facilitating regular opportunities for siblings (age 5+) who are living with a brother or sister with a life limiting condition or those who are bereaved, to participate in fun, engaging activities that promote peer support both in the hospice and off site. Sibling Support Worker

To work as part of our Family Support Team providing holistic support from the point of referral through to post bereavement. This role will be working primarily with the siblings of children with life limiting conditions as well as those who are bereaved. The role involves visiting siblings aged 7 – 18, to conduct 1:1 support based on their emotional wellbeing. Are you a highly skilled and enthusiastic children’s nurse, with a passion for palliative care and a commitment to developing staff and services that we offer to children and their families? If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for an exceptional nurse to join our team in a brand-new post as a Practice Development Nurse. You will work directly with the Care Team, supporting the team to gain skills and proficiencies, enabling them to care for children who rely on our care services.

The dream of Bluebell Wood began in 1998, with the vision to help families in this area who wanted an alternative to hospital care.
