Hockey players are very grounded individuals and will always go above and beyond to make someone’s day. The guys have been asking to visit Bluebell Wood for a long time. It is great to put smiles on the faces of families who may be having a hard time, particularly at Christmas. We know how amazing the service that Bluebell Wood provides is and we felt it only right to pay a visit to say thank you.”

David Hall, Corporate Fundraiser for Bluebell Wood, said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to the Sheffield Steelers for calling in to say hello this Christmas. Visits like this are so welcome because they help make a real difference for our children and young adults as they make Christmas memories with their families.”
