At Bluebell Wood, we refer to the time families spend in the hospice as ‘short breaks'. At the moment, these breaks are two nights long. Children and young people can stay with us either on their own or with their family, supported by our Care Team. We have plenty of fun activities for families to create special memories together, including soft play, sensory activities, cinema, spa pool, play and music therapy, and fun in our large gardens. We support children and young adults whose lives are just too short, and all of our services are completely free for their families. We are here to take some of the stresses away when looking after for your child, and to provide you with the best care possible. You can read more about the services that we provide below.
You can also download our Family Fact File for more information about our services and how we can support you and your family.
