A Sheffield dance school will be wowing audiences with two show-stopping performances this December, all while raising funds for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Dancers of all ages from KC Dance Academy, based in Shiregreen, will be strutting their stuff on December 3rd and 4th for the evening shows which are taking place at Ecclesfield School. With a variety of disciplines including theatre, tap, ballet and modern, the performances promise something for everyone.

For the KC family, the shows have a special significance.

“Two of the girls who dance with us have a family connection to Bluebell Wood so it’s a charity that means  a great deal to us,” said Carly Wright, who runs the Academy along with Kelly Allen.

“We see ourselves very much as a dance family – so whatever is close to our members hearts is close to ours too.

“We have done a show in support of Bluebell Wood previously too and learnt a great deal about what the charity means to our members, so we’re very much looking forward to offering our support again.”

Tickets are available by contacting [email protected] or by calling 07885719957 and the proceeds of all programme sales from the two performances are going to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Shannon Gossage, Regional Fundraiser at Bluebell Wood, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to the KC family for supporting Bluebell Wood once again.

“The shows sound absolutely fantastic and we’re in no doubt that the dancers will well and truly raise the roof.

“Thanks to amazing supporters in the communities like KC we can continue to be there for local families going through the toughest of times.”
